Outside of Fossil Fuels, the biggest contributor to Transport and Logistics emissions is from the electricity used in their warehouse practices. Inside a warehouse transport and logistics operators use electricity to operate many necessary functions, such as Heating, Lighting, Cold Room Storage and Handling.

As warehousing adds considerable expense to transport and logistics operators it is often in their best interests that they operate as effieiciently as possible. Reducing a warehouse's overall energy use can be undertaken through a number of measures, which may prove to be cost productive to an organisation.

Use our below tool to go room-by-room and identify the individual energy savings one can to their warehouse. When the mouse is over a particular room double click to be taken to that particular page with case studies and a specific energy saving calculator.
